Most skin problems come back to one thing.

The barrier — that thin layer between your skin and everything the world throws at it — when it's healthy, your skin handles most things on its own. When it's not, nothing you put on top of it really works the way it should.

That was the starting point. Not a mood board. Not a market gap deck. Just that one insight, and the question that followed: why is so much of what's out there working against it?

We spent a long time in labs before we spent any time building a brand. Formulations. Failed samples. Starting over. Asking whether something genuinely worked or just felt like it did. That gap — between what products claim and what they actually do — was the whole reason Ikahi existed before it had a name.

Ikahi means harmony. It felt right. Because that's the state we're building toward — skin that isn't fighting itself, a routine that isn't fighting your life.

We cover face and body. Both deserve the same level of attention, and for too long, body care has been treated like an afterthought. We don't see it that way.

Whatever we make — cleanser, moisturiser, treatment — it's built on the same foundation. Science that holds up. Ingredients with a reason to be there. Formulas that work in real conditions, for real skin, on real days.

We're still building. The story isn't long yet — but it's honest, and we intend to keep it that way.
